This notice explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it and the rights you have under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022, the PDP Law).
Who we are

What this website collects
This website has no forms. Our own visit counter (OpenPanel) sets no cookies and stores no personal data. When you tap a WhatsApp, Telegram or email button, your message goes through that service, not through our website. Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site secure.
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which can see your IP address.
What we collect when you contact us
We collect your name, your company's name, registration number and address, your country, phone number, email address and Telegram username, the content of your messages, the machines you ask about, your destination port, and the country of the bank you will pay from.
During a sale we also collect the documents you send us, such as company registration papers and signed declarations. If you sell a machine to us, we collect the ownership documents for the machine, your identity documents and the bank details we pay into.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and send the machines you ask about, because you asked us to and as a step before a contract.
- To check sanctions and export control rules, because the law requires it.
- To prepare offers, contracts, invoices and shipping documents, to perform our contract with you.
- To keep records of sales and checks, because tax and export rules require it.
- To send you our stock list, if you asked for it. This is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by replying STOP.
Who we share it with
We share what is needed with our freight forwarder, inspection companies, banks, lawyers and tax advisor, and with government agencies such as customs when the law requires it. WhatsApp, Telegram and our email provider carry the messages you send us. We don't sell personal data, and we never pass a buyer's details to the owners we buy machines from.
Transfers outside Indonesia
WhatsApp, Telegram and our email provider may store data outside Indonesia. When we transfer personal data abroad, we do so under the conditions the PDP Law sets.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for 2 years after our last contact with you. Sales, sanctions screening and export records are kept for as long as Indonesian tax and export rules require.
Your rights
Under the PDP Law you can ask us what personal data we hold about you and why, get a copy, and correct or update it. You can ask us to stop processing it, or to delete or destroy it, and you can withdraw any consent you gave.
You can also object to decisions made only by automated processing, including profiling, ask us to restrict or delay processing, and receive your data in a common format or have it sent to another controller. If we breach the law, you can claim compensation.
To use any of these rights, write to sales@heiheavyequipment.com. We may ask you to confirm who you are first.
Security
Only the people who need your data to do their work can access it. If a data breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the authorities within 3 x 24 hours, as the PDP Law requires.

We update this notice when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
